Kumbhalgarh
Kumbhalgarh is an eminent tourist destination. It is located in the Rajsamand District of Rajasthan, India. Kumbhalgarh is situated between the southern part of the state and it is also known as kumbhalmer. Kumbhalagarh Fort is second most important fort of the state of the Rajasthan, India. The most convenient way to reach Kumbhalgarh is to book a private cab from Udaipur. En route to Nathdwara and Haldi Ghati (covering a distance of 102kms in 1 hour 38 minutes approximately).
By Rail:
The nearest railway station to Kumbhalgarh is the Falna which is about 42 kilometres away from the Kumbhalgarh. The station is pretty well-connected with all the major cities like Mumbai, Ajmer, Delhi, Jaipur, Ahmadabad and Jodhpur.
1. Fort Kumbhalgarh:
It is situated on the Banas River. Kumbhalgrah fort was one of the least-known yet the historic fortification, took 15 long years for the Maharana Kumbha to build. And it is what a remarkable creation of man containing a domed palacealong with the 36km long winding walls that defend the fort from the series of battlements and it is second famous great wall of the china.
